Green Mountain Treatment Center saved my life, pure and simple. I went there more than once, but the most recent stay was the first time I truly wanted to get sober. Much good can be said about their facility and the stunning views, the caring 12 step coordinators, counselors, therapists, and nurses...but what truly sets this facility apart from the others in New England is their programming. This is the place where you will get the truth about your disease and the truth about what THE solution is. This program and the almost two months I spent working it gave me my life back. I had lost virtually everything, but because of the foundation I began building at GMTC I am now 19 months clean and sober, am a parent to my now two year old, a sponsor to multiple men in AA, in school for addiction counseling and a supervisor at a residential treatment center in Massachusetts. If they would let me back sober to work their program again I would...that's how good it is. HIGHLY recommend to anyone struggling with addiction or to any family looking for somewhere to send their loved one who is struggling.

Green mountain and granite recovery centers saved my life. They showed me that I could live like other people, they taught me how to be a man that takes responsibility and accepts accountability. They showed me there is a way out from all the darkness. From the staff to the amenities this place is amazing. You wanna heal in the beautiful mountains of NH Let’s GOOOOO!!!!! Thank you everyone at green mountain new freedom academy and the granite house for always believing in me and helping me push through the storm to see the sunshine. They have given me back a life. With my family and that is truly a huge blessing I can’t say enough.!!!!!

Going to GMTC has absolutely changed my life! I swear there’s magic on that mountain! Not only did it change my life but I got clean for the first time. I’ll be celebrating getting my 40 day chip soon! GMTC will always have a place in my heart and everyone I met there taught me something that lead me to where I am today. The view obviously is gorgeous, but when you’re on that mountain it challenges you & pushes you to your limits so you can GROW & HEAL… which in the long run places a part in becoming sober. I’ve never felt so amazing in my life. Sometimes I actually miss being there. It’s taught me to appreciate the small things in life & take it day by day. I love you so so much GMTC. Thank you for changing me, changing my life abs helping me get sober! An absolute 20/10 place. I’ll always recommend GMTC to anyone I can who’s struggling in addiction. That’s another thing GMTC taught me.. you help others any way you can.. those moments when you’re helping someone, is like no other feeling in the world. I’ll continue being do service to anyone in active addiction.

The staff have been through the same struggles that we as residents face… this is not a vacation it’s a place to get your life on track and get the tools needed to love life again… if you are looking to change your life for the better then this is a great start… staff are always looking to help you in a manner that works for each individual… I owe a lot to green mtn

Green Mountain Treatment Center was an amazing experience from start to finish. Obviously treatment was not my first choice of places I wanted to check in to. Being that I definitely needed help, I’m happy I chose Green Mountain. This place was exactly what I needed to put addiction behind me!!
