What to Bring to Rehab

A quick packing list to know what you should bring when you enter treatment

Important Information

  • A list of all your current medications and dosages
  • clothes being packed in suitcasePrescription medications in the original labeled pharmacy bottles.
    Any liquid medication must be new and sealed.
  • Insurance cards
  • One or more forms of ID
  • Stationery and stamps
  • Addresses and phone numbers

Clothes

  • Suite case
  • Prescription Eyeglasses / Sunglasses
  • 2 pairs of shoes (sneakers and/or comfortable shoes)
  • 5-7 Outfits combination of below:
    • Day Wear (Shirt, pants/shorts)
    • Seasonal Wear (If applicable)
    • Outdoor (2 sweatshirts, shorts)
    • Sleepwear (2 pairs of pajamas)
    • Undergarments (5-7 underwear, 5-7socks)
  • Seasonal Items
    • Winter Boots
    • Winter Gloves
    • Winter Hat
    • Jacket

Hygiene

  • Toiletries – non-alcoholic
  • Shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, deodorant, shaving cream, and soap for 30 days
  • Hair dryer
  • Shaving supplies
  • Nail clippers

Miscellaneous

  • Cigarettes for 30 days
  • 2-3 books (optional)

Note: These items cannot have alcohol in the first three active/inactive ingredients. There is no such thing as “inactive” alcohol.

 

Please Do NOT Bring…

  • Alcohol or drugs
  • Unlabeled/sample/mixed medications
  • Herbal products/supplemental vitamins
  • Pornography
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Electronic equipment including but not limited to cell phones, MP3 players, headphones, etc. (if you bring an electronic device of any kind it will be locked in secured property for the duration of your treatment)
  • Excessive makeup, clothing or jewelry
  • Rolling/chewing tobacco
  • Cigars, cigarillos, or pipes
  • Vapes or electronic cigarettes
  • Clothing with inappropriate or alcohol/drug related wording or logos, or sexual content
  • Baseball caps or flat brimmed hats
  • Short shorts/skirts
  • Halter tops, tank tops, or shirts that show your midriff
  • Pillows, blankets, comforters… We provide bedding
  • Toiletries with alcohol in the first three active or inactive ingredients
  • Games, card decks, or sporting equipment
  • Perfumes, colognes, body sprays, or aerosols
  • Expensive items of any kind
  • More than $50 cash
  • Outside food or beverages
  • Paints or permanent markers
