Michelle Peare is the clinical director at GMTC. Michelle has nine years of clinical experience in the field of psychology and social work, holding a master’s degree in social work and NH state licensing as an MSW, MLADC. During this time, they have consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to improving the mental health and well-being of their clients. Throughout their career, they have worked in a variety of settings, including outpatient clinics, residential treatment centers, and private practice, where they have provided compassionate and effective care to diverse populations.
Michelle specializes in substance abuse and mental health. Michelle has developed expertise in CBT, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). They have worked extensively with adolescents, adults, veterans, and individuals with co-occurring disorders, tailoring their approach to meet the unique needs of each client.
In addition to their clinical work, Michelle has also contributed to program development, and staff training, consistently staying abreast of the latest developments in their field through ongoing professional development and education. Their dedication to ethical practice, combined with their clinical skills, has led to positive outcomes for countless clients over the course of their career.
