Michael Corrado is the Executive Director and Clinical Director of New Freedom Academy in Salem. He is a seasoned therapist and clinician with extensive experience in clinical care and therapeutic program leadership across the mental health field.
Michael holds a master’s degree in Counseling and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Clinical Mental Health with a concentration in complex trauma. His background includes work in outpatient mental health clinics and clinical residential programs, where he has developed and implemented individualized, trauma-informed treatment goals for a wide range of populations.
His leadership experience includes serving as Clinic Director for two outpatient mental health clinics. In his current role, Michael oversees clinical programming and organizational leadership at NFA Salem. He also provides clinical licensure supervision for many programs across Granite Recovery Centers. Michael is clinically licensed in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Maine, and he also holds an MLADC in New Hampshire.
Outside of work, Michael enjoys traveling with his family and cheering on Boston sports teams.
