Michael is a seasoned Therapist and Clinician with an extensive background in clinical care and managing therapeutic settings spanning the mental health field. Michael holds a master’s degree in the field of Counseling and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Clinical Mental health with a concentration and focus in Complex Trauma.
His experience and journey have provided him the opportunity to serve a wide range of cultures and populations in Outpatient Mental Health clinics through Clinical Residential programs, affording him the opportunity to strategically implement individualized, trauma informed clinical treatment goals for the populations served.
Michael’s experience has included leadership roles such as Clinic Director of two separate Outpatient Mental Health clinics and is now serving as Clinical Director and Executive Director of New Freedom Academy – Salem. Among his other responsibilities, Michael also currently provides clinical licensure supervision for most of the programs under the Granite Recovery Centers umbrella as he is clinically licensed in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine while also holding an MLADC in New Hampshire.
Michael is a Boston homer at heart, so his hobbies include passionately cheering on the Boston based sports teams and traveling with his family.
