Disorders

Mental health disorders are conditions that impact a person’s emotional, psychological, and behavioral well-being. These disorders often alter the person’s daily life significantly, and can affect their moods, how they think and act, how they deal with stress, and more.

While it is difficult to know the exact origin of these types of illnesses, we do know that a myriad of things can contribute, including brain chemistry, genetics, environment, and trauma history. In fact, 1 in 5 adults in the US have been diagnosed with at least one mental illness. The good news is that treatment can address the challenges presented by these disorders, and can help you manage your condition so that you can live a healthy, happy life.

At NFA Behavioral Health, our full continuum of care can guide you onto the road to recovery so you can start living your best life. Our treatment philosophy incorporates many tools that can help you find a recovery plan that works for you and addresses your individual needs.

Some of the diagnoses we treat include:

3 different levels

Our treatments are offered through 3 different levels depending on each client’s needs, including residential, inpatient, and dual diagnosis. All levels follow our abstinence-based program, which incorporates the 12 Steps along with cognitive behavioral therapies, peer-to-peer workshops, and holistic practices such as mindfulness and meditation. We focus on healing the mind, body, and spirit to guide you toward a lifelong, fulfilling recovery.
