Michael Carter is the first shift operations supervisor at New Freedom Academy in Salem. Michael is a program alumnus. He began his career at GRC in 2022 as recovery support specialist with the goal of giving back to the program. Michael was quickly promoted to a lead recovery support specialist and was just recently promoted to operations supervisor. Michael enjoys overseeing the operations team at the center while working in a fast paced and rewarding environment. Michael brings a sense of humor to the team even on the challenging days. In his free time, he enjoys fishing and spending time with his friends and family. Michael celebrated 3 years of continuous sobriety in September 2024.
