Recovering in the Granite State
New Hampshire is the fifth smallest state in the nation. What it may lack in size, the Granite State makes up for in natural beauty, peaceful landscapes, and bustling cities. With its perfect combination of rolling, pastoral beauty and quaint metropolitan towns and cities, New Hampshire is the idyllic place to visit, live, retire, and even recover from drug or alcohol addiction.
New Hampshire’s Mountain and Lake Region
Granite Recovery Centers has 11 NH drug addiction treatment centers, each geographically seated according to the ideal environment the program requires. For medical detox and primary inpatient rehab, New Hampshire’s mountains and lakes region provides the peaceful solace and quiet needed in earliest recovery. Green Mountain Treatment Center is situated between the grand White Mountain forest and the amply buffeted lakes region, and perches on the side of a mountain to behold a panorama unrivalled. Granite Recovery Center’s smaller residential drug rehab is stolen away down winding New England back roads in quiet Canterbury, nestled on a small campus.
Northern and Central NH Region
Extended care and rehab aftercare homes have been carefully selected to be close enough to rehabilitative workshops and programming. Harmony House and Freedom House reside in Effingham in Central New Hampshire towards the quiet North, while The Granite House and The Granite House for Women are situated in residential neighborhoods in quaint downtown areas in the more population-dense Central to Southern part of the state.
Southern, NH Region
Sober living homes for community-oriented sobriety reside in downtown Manchester, in gender-specific houses in neighborhoods close to work and program opportunities. The largest city in the state houses a thriving downtown of shopping, restaurants, and activities.
A Recovery Movement
New Hampshire is fortunate in that Granite Recovery Centers offers a full continuum of care — from medical detox to residential treatment and extended care, to sober living and intensive outpatient treatment — every resource that an addict needs to get well and stay well is available from one treatment provider. This end-to-end continuity of care enables clients to maintain relationships with clinicians and case managers all the way through their recovery journey.
We believe it to be our responsibility, now more than ever, to step up, reach out, and change the drug addiction narrative, end the cycle. Most of us know firsthand what it takes to get to the other side of addiction, to reclaim life, to live sober and purposeful. We’ve done it, and now our purpose is to help you.
This is the recovery movement — just as much yours as it is ours.
